👋 Hi, Merill here with this week’s round up of the latest news on Microsoft Entra from around the globe 🌍.
I was at the PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit in Bellevue this week where I presented a session on Mastering Microsoft Graph PowerShell (video coming soon…).
🔥 Maester
Over the last 6 months, I’ve been working with Fabian Bader and Thomas Naunheim on a new open source project called Maester.
We originally started on this as a way to use PowerShell Pester to create regression tests for your Conditional Access policies using the new Conditional Access What-If API. We soon realized the tests could expanded to cover many more scenarios and Maester was born. Learn all about it at https://maester.dev
Enjoy!

👨🏽💻 Merill’s corner
🥳 🎉 Folks, Fabian Bader, Thomas Naunheim and I are excited to launch Maester today after working on this over many long nights and weekends!
Maester is an open source framework to help you stay on top of your Microsoft tenant's security configuration.
Starting today you can write automated regressions tests for your Conditional Access policies using the awesome new Microsoft Entra Conditional Access What If API!
To help you get started we include over 60+ tests out of the box with more being added.
Our initial focus has been on Entra and we look forward to have more collaborators joining us to expand the out of the box tests to other products.
Try it out and let us know your thoughts.
All the details over at maester.dev
Many thanks to your extended team that helped out with Maester over the last few months including Clayton Tyger, Friedrich Weinmann, Justin Grote and Andrew Taylor.
